Description

A well-known, well-loved San Joaquin Valley non-profit organization is currently searching for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a full-time Executive Director.

The role of the Executive Director requires a combination of organizational leadership and operational talent. The Executive Director provides the management expertise for achieving goals and objectives in accordance with the mission of the organization. Reporting to the Executive Director are various department supervisors and staff. In addition to managing internal operations of the organization, the Executive Director must also be aware of conditions, events and issues that affect the community in which they operate.

As a salaried Executive Director, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overall direction of the organization for long-term goals as well as daily operation
  • Develop new projects or fundraisers
  • Maintain/revise policies for operations, staff, volunteers, projects
  • Attend all Executive or regular Board meetings and implement by-laws, goals, policies and projects directed by Board
  • Oversee all development and fundraising
  • Supervise all managers and things such as budgets, payroll, retirement and health insurance plans, etc

Requirements of the position:

  • College degree in Business Administration preferred
  • 3-4 years management experience
  • 4-5 years in fundraising and development
  • 4-5 years in public relations
  • 2-3 years of public speaking
